The North Devon Show held it's AGM at Portmore last week. We held the main business of the AGM in a room adjoining the restaurant where 96 people sat down to dine. The food was first class, the staff very courteous and overall there was a lovely atmosphere. We would highly recommend Portmore Golf Park as your venue.

Visit North Devon's most amazing tourist attraction Lundy Island. Season by season, from dawn to dusk, visitors to Lundy are offered endless interest and delight.MS Oldenburg departs from Ilfracombe Pier and Bideford Quay (only a 10 mile drive from Barnstaple) from mid March to October. Or travel by helicoptor from Hartland Point from November to mid March.
We loved our visit to Lundy earlier this year. We decided to do a day visit and found it to be beautiful and very interesting, especially the properties and their history. We had a wonderful day and will return!

Really easy to find although could do with an arrow on the sign! Set up not as 'finished' (probably a signage thing again) as I thought it would be when I got there but when inside the staff and over all facilities made up for my initial first impressions.
Rebecca being the only female instructor was fantastic with my daughter, didn't take any of her usual nonsense from her and got so much out of her. Brilliant thank you

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Tyspane Care Home in Braunton enjoyed a litter of pupsicles for World Dog Day on Monday 27th August when they hosted their 4th annual dog show.
