Its what you CAN do that counts! Your Chance to Shine at the Activity Open Day at Easter with the Calvert Trust Exmoor

Do you love adventure in your life? Are you an adrenaline junkie? Well Bank holiday Monday the 6th April is the day to run wild. Get ready, whatever your ability your fun drive is about to get tested to the max! When the doors open they’ll be no holding us back.

Aimed for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities - and their friends and families and anyone you know the centre offers the chance for everyone to achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure. So with anyone and everyone welcome to come and try their adventurous activities make sure you’re first in line for glorious activities such as:

  • Archery – for those who love to fire things or target practice
  • Zip-wire – What’s not to love about swinging through the air pretending your flying
  • Abseiling – For the brave to get their fill of walking or rolling off  solid ground
  •  Giant swing –  Sway yourself whilst watching the sky in motion
  • Horse riding -  get up close and personal with natures beautiful giants
  • Carriage driving fun for anyone who fancies being in control of wild stallions. For the ride of tour life

The ponies are also available just to meet and say hello to for those tamer individuals like great granny.

Other attractions on site will include a bouncy castle, glitter tattoos, face painting, refreshment stands, and an exciting visit from a special children’s character. If you fancy a different and diverse way to spend your Easter why not express your uniqueness at the Calvert Trust Exmore. And a special treat if you have spent most of Easter climbing the walls this year they are introducing the Cardio Wall from Rugged Interactive and running a fun interactive fitness challenge with a prize to be won.

If being on the water is more you’re your style they also offer canoeing on Wistlandpound Reservoir.
