The bags have been flying out and every single child has been delighted and their Mum's have been so surprised and grateful to you. One little boy's Mum said, "Wow! That's amazing, how kind." I gave one to a little boy with a brain tumour on Tuesday. He was so happy when he saw the lego and mechanno and said, "Thanks for that, it will give me and Dad something to do later" I went to a little boy this morning who has in inoperable brain tumour. He is a beautiful little boy and was so happy to be given the bag. He slowly emptied it, looking at everything in amazement. He loved the Funny Face book and lego.

As one of the recipients of an activity bag from Ward M3 at Sheffield Children's Hospital my son would like to say a big 'Thank You' for the lovely gifts he received.
My son has leukemia and has been receiving treatment at SCH since December 2009.He was recently on the ward feeling particularly rubbish after having chemo, and the activity bag was spot on with its contents to keep him amused. He is 10 years old and loved the Battle strikers, meccano kit and Lego. All have kept him amused when he's bored at home but can't go out as he's neutropenic. We have taken the 'Top Trumps' cards and the 'Uno' card games to play on Daycare whilst waiting to go to Theatre. The Dinosaur King notebook and reading book we have put in the overnight bag we always have packed so we have them next time we spend time on the ward.

Sibblings can really suffer when a brother or sister is seriously ill. It's great that Pippa Jones Little Treasure Trust is around and giving practical help and support to young families in truly difficult circumstances.
