Gate of India is an award winning Indian restaurant in Barnsley, serving traditional Bangladeshi food and Indian cuisine.
A family run restaurant, Gate of India in Barnsley is run by Aziz, the manager and his brother, Azmal, the chef.
Azmal is specially trained in cooking traditional Bangladeshi food - and although Gate of India has been open since 2000, the family opened their first Indian restaurant in Barnsley in 1981.

Gate of India offers a wide range of Indian food and traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, including a wide range of fish, seafood and vegetable Bangladeshi food using the finest, fresh ingredients.
Starters include:
- King Prawn Butterfly - King Prawns delicately spiced and deep fried.
- Sheek Kebab - minced lamb cooked in Tandoori
