Barnsley Rotary Club are once again supporting this wonderful cause when 12 nine year old children from the heart of Belarus visit Barnsley for 4 weeks from the 20th June.
This visit gives these children the chance to live a little bit longer simply by the fact that we can provide clean food, water and air; something that is impossible where they live as the Nuclear fallout from the accident many years ago is still in the ground and air where they live.
One of the events the children attended last year was a BBQ that was held as part of their visit. They were very polite, lovely children that REALLY appreciated everything that was being organised for them and they deserve this opportunity of a better chance in life.
