As we reach the final stages of Wimbledon 2012 with the big and persistent question still answered (will Andy win?) are you tempted to dust off your racket and get out there and play?

If so, where in the borough of Barnet can you play? Fortunately there are plenty of places around.

For a list of clubs and venues take a look here at Get Active London

And if you fancy getting involved with a local tennis league, the Local Leagues Tennis project, recognised by The Tennis Foundation, gives you the chance to play in friendly, competitive matches.

There are leagues all over the country including two in the borough - The Hendon Park and the Victoria Park Tennis Leagues. For details of where, when and how to join follow the links to the Local Tennis Leagues website.

There are plenty of Tennis clubs to choose from across the borough if you want better facilities to play on. The LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) website can help with a list of clubs and facilities and lots of information about starting and developing your game.

These include the following clubs
