What does Noah's Ark Children's Hospice do?

Our aim is to support these families in a flexible way - responding to their specific circumstance with services that encompass the whole family, enabling them to live positive lives and face the future with hope.

The services provided range from practical and emotional support, outings for the family and, in some cases, end-of-life and bereavement support.

Our service provision has grown in direct response to our families' needs and we have created an innovative range of services with them in mind.

Our services

Noah's Ark currently has a very active community team, providing vital support through initiatives like our:

• Play Scheme
• Siblings Support Programme
• Family Support Volunteer Service
• Family Days and
• Carers Bank.

Through these we are able to offer families support where it is most needed, filling gaps in areas not supported by other service providers.

With land now acquired, Noah's Ark will be moving onto the next exciting phase later this year - to raise the money to build a hospice building which will enable us to complement our existing community work with additional services.

Noah's Ark Charity Shop

We opened ourfirst charity shopin November 2011 on Barnet High Street which helps us raise funds.

If you have a few hours to spare each week, enjoy working with the public and love being surrounded by clothes, books and toys, we'd like to hear from you.

We are looking for volunteers in a variety of roles that will help the shop be as successful as possible.

We rely upon the generosity of our supporters in order to be able to provide help to seriously ill children, and their families, across North London. There are many ways in which you can help us, youcan see howhere.

We get very little funding from the government so donationsand fund raising areessential for us. We accept one off and regular donations.
