At St Mary's CE Primary School in the heart of Banbury, you'll find friendly people working in an exciting and stimulating environment.
The choice of school is important and we are always pleased and proud to show prospective parents around the school. Please see the school's website for alot more information about us.
St Mary's School is a Church of England school with close links to St Mary's Church in Horsefair, Banbury. The school is committed to building an inclusive community to nurture the spirituality of all pupils.
The school's 250 or so pupils, aged 3 to 11, come from a richly diverse catchment area in Banbury into a secure, caring, ordered and happy environment. We value each child as an individual and aim to help them to achieve their full potential, encouraging them to be environmentally aware and to contribute as members of the local community.
Through recognising the importance of the partnership between the school, pupil and parent, we aim to keep parents informed of their child's activities in the school and to involve them in all the school's efforts.
The pupils are taught in mixed ability classes in the school's old Victorian buildings and modern classrooms. The school has a large playground, playing fields and outdoor facilities in the grounds which extend back a considerable distance from Southam Road.
