Dave Earl is such a nice, decent guy. He does so much for the local community and takes time out of his day to help people who are not as fortunate as others. He always has a smile on his face and a pearl of wisdom to impart!!

Spit 'n' Sawdust is the place you go because you WANT to go, not because you feel you SHOULD go! It is a place where I went to see and have a chat/laugh with the many genuine friends I made there... the (great) exercise was a bonus!!

I have joined many gyms/fitness classes over the years and always fallen into the trap of 'feeling like I ought to go' and then stopping after a few months because getting in shape was not enough. I always felt like I was missing out on some fun when I couldn't get to a boxercise class at Dave's - that's the difference.

I have seen it change many people in the time I went there - physically, but also emotionally and mentally too. People of all ages and backgrounds grew enormously in confidence and self-awareness in the time I was a member. It is a pleasure to have been associated with them.

Staying in Banbury for half a year (and unfortunately leaving soon) I fortunately found Spit n Sawdust.
It is great for anyone who would either like to start boxing or just stay fit and healthy! You do not need any boring machines in a nice gym to train well. Both the boxercise and boxing classes are fun and the atmosphere is great with people like Dave! I enjoyed every hour I went to the gym.

I would recommend anyone who is interested in Good atmosphere & fitness to get to SpitnSawdust, Dave I have trained with and known for several years and it as done me a Lot of Good.Friendship amongst all is shown in training and when get out together 4 a drink at times.
