Charitable organisation with a keen interest in Banbury and the North Oxfordshire area

For the past three years, Marie Curie Cancer Care has been campaigning for more patients to be able to make the choice to be cared for and die at home.

For every patient we can help, there is one we cannot !

We've more ways than ever for you to help us deliver more services to cancer patients and their families all around the UK, whichever way you choose to help we thank you for your support.

How your help is needed in and around Banbury

  • Volunteering: donating 2 hours of your time to help collect at one of our collections throughout Banbury and Oxfordshire, annually, in March OR help at a local event.
  • At work: get a work group together to co-ordinate a Supermarket collection OR a dress down day OR get a team together to do one of our Mountain Challenges
  • At school: take part in our Mini Pots of Care OR organise a table top event
  • Supporter Group: get a group of friends/neighbours together and fundraise as a group. Co-ordinate a collection in March, organise an event

April 07 - February 08 the Oxfordshire Nurses covered 5651.5 hours of home caring including 105 new patients and this service is always free of charge to patients and families

The daffodil is the emblem of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Every March we run the Great Daffodil Appeal, with street collections and other fundraising events nationwide.

If you have some time to donate then take a look at our volunteering pages. Every year Oxfordshire needs new volunteers to help at Great Daffodil time. There’s something to suit everybody.

Visit the Events pages, with a wide range of UK and overseas sporting and adventure activities. Or show your support through your company, our annual Great Daffodil Appeal, or you can even organise your own event.

Any support you can give means more time for our Marie Curie Nurses to spend giving the vital care needed to look after terminally ill patients in the comfort of their own homes rather than in a hospital.
