Banbury Museum is Cherwell District Council's popular family friendly museum. Situated in Banbury's bustling town centre, close to both the train station and bus station it boasts:-

Hands on displays tell of Banbury's origin and history. Visit also Tooley's Boatyard, an historic working boatyard and Scheduled Ancient Monument that adjoins the museum. Note, the Boatyard can only be visited as part of a guided tour.

Banbury Museum offers an extensive education programme for schools that links directly to the National Curriculum. The museum has a purpose built Education Studio which is also available as a private conference faciltiy for up to 55 people.
