Local football star, Nigel Clough, son of the legendary Brian Clough, will be joining Lady Mayoress Caroline Cooper to switch on Ashbourne's Christmas lights this year on 27th November.
There is bound to be a great turnout for this popular event in November in Ashbourne’s Market Place. It is a delightful event for families.
Apparently our Lady Mayoress is a huge Derby County football fan and wrote to manager Nigel asking him to do the honours.
