Stafford House Fine Foods Testimonials

As a member of Anglesey rowing club I was tasked to organise a meal for the members. We had heard that Stafford House in Menai Bridge held themed nights so I decided to find out more about it.

I met Steve and Paula who were so friendly and helpful. As we have several age groups in the club it is usually difficult to please everybody but Paula and Steve suggested a menu they had recently used for one of their themed evenings based around cocktails, which was ideal because there was something for every taste.

There were 5 courses all of which looked like something from Masterchef, and the taste was exquisite, every course was flavoured with a different cocktail and the flavours exploded in your mouth with every bite.

Not to be missed is the homemade bread which is like nothing you would buy in any of the local shops it is beautiful, we loved it so much that we actually bought up the rest of the batch and took it home.

A rare event outside of the big hotels is the quality and selection of fine wines which accompany the different dishes and the knowledge and expertise of the staff in recommending the best wine for the dish.

The younger adults in the club had intended to go on to Bangor after the meal but because we had taken over the whole restaurant and Steve and Paula had created an atmosphere that was so lively and welcoming we all stayed there until well after midnight.

We would highly recommend you go to Stafford House for your social event if you want something just that little bit special; we were amazed that there was a restaurant locally that produced such sophisticated food at very respectable prices.
