I bought a picture by Andover artist Soraya French which Dick framed beautifully within 48 hours at a very reasonable price. I will recommend Framesmith to anybody who needs to know!
Dick clearly knows his business. He gave us excellent advice about the best way to mount and frame some pictures and the results are much better than the original. He cleaned up an old tatty photo of mine that has lots of sentimental value, and it now looks stunning. We were very pleased with the results and will certainly now be regular clients and recommend him to friends
Dick clearly knows his business well. He gave exceptionally good advice when choosing mounts and frames for the two pictures I took in, so much so that they look 100 times better than in their original format. He cleaned up an old photo of mine which had a lot of sentimental value, but had got very tatty, and this now looks sensational. A big thankyou, can't recommend him highly enough. We will be regular clients and will recommend him to friends.

For Christmas this year my girlfriend took my 3 signed Manchester United shirts of CANTONA, BECKHAM and RONALDO and had them framed. All 3 shirts are now in one frame and look absolutely stunning. I cant comment on cost other than in comparrison to other estimates i was told FRAMESMITHS was by far the cheapest. In terms of the quality i believe this to be second to none. The frame is made of quality materials and the shirts are presented in a stunning way. I have 2 other shirts that i want framed and will definately be taking them to FRAMESMITHS.
We purchased an original mixed media artwork while in Australia. The gallery there removed the glass so it wouldn't break in transit, and then shipped the artwork with the glass strapped to the back to us. All arrived safely - took the piece and the glass into our usual framers in Salisbury where they ummed and aahed over how to put it all back together. We ended up emailing the gallery back in Aus who sent back clear instructions of how to reassemble - Salisbury framer still uummed and aahed - result 3 weeks later we had to go back in and collect it all back again as they hadn't been able to sort out. One phone call to Dick, half an hour later we dropped it off - 3 hours later it was hanging on our wall - at long last! What a professional!!
I did alot of research looking for a professional to frame an ice hockey shirt for my boss. Framesmith not only offered the most competetive price (by far), but also the most resonable lead time. Iʼm pleased to say Framesmith did an excellent job & I highly recommend this service
Scenario!! i am a new watercolour artist, i had a chance to exhibit some paintings but had non framed. Looked on the best of and found Dick. One phone call and 30 minutes later i was in his workshop i left all the choices to him regarding colour and mouldings. Good decision, 2 days later five framed paintings and beautifully done. I couldnʼt have chosen better myself.
Dick is very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to give me many tips re mounts for my work. I would highly recommend him. Any work for exhibition should be done by him and he is also very reasonably priced.
This is the third time we have used Dick, he has made an excellent job of the two original watercolours, that coupled with realistic pricing makes for a happy customer. We love that he is local but even if he were not we would not think of going anywhere else.
Thrilled with what Dick has done for us, great advice (in our home), attention to detail, superb workmanship that is second to none A purpose built frame/moulding for one of our pieces He has brought life to our art, without overpowering the work as only a master craftsman can achieve Most amazing for us is that his charge was so reasonable, bearing in mind he had to consider the original canvases of some of the art Weʼd trust him with a Van Gogh or Andy Warhol - when we are rich!
Dick is clearly a very knowledgeable guy, he did an excellant job of framing three pictures for us and was very helpful in picking the right materials. The price was reasonable and the end result absolutelt great, would highly recommend
