I admit I am not totally clued up, but I'd like to make a comment
The lack of post delivered will be a welcome relief for a lot of people, no bills, final reminders and unless it's one's birthday........
Several months ago I watched news/documentary about postmen and postwomen being told their round should take x time and the comments from people doing the job was "you try it! Consider this - you haven't factored in distance/terrain/weather.. the list goes on
If a postal worker decides to continue working through this I appreciate that they haven't the funds to be able to strike and they have families to feed
My main point is that when our mail comes through the door so much of it is unsolicited crap - that we chuck in the bin
In essence - "postal spam"
Yes the post office do have to make money but everyone justs wants to have relevant mail - There is a service to block stuff but it's not easy to do
