The Children's Adventure Farm Trust - A Charitable Organisation (Near Altrincham) Providing Special Holidays For Special Children
The Children's Adventure Farm Trust (based at Millington, near Altrincham) was founded in 1985 & is a registered charity (Registered Charity No: 1003675) providing 'special' holidays & activities for children across the North West who are disadvantaged, disabled & chronically sick.
The Adventure Farm is situated at Boothbank Farm, a beautiful 17th century farmhouse in 10 acres of grounds just 10 minutes from Altrincham in the Cheshire countryside. We provide care for the children with a homely welcome that makes them feel secure.
As a charitable organisation, we offer our facilities & care to children who don't normally have these opportunities; we can't change a child's circumstances.....but when they leave us they have special memories they can cherish.
The Charity provides a wide range of children's activities:
- Multi-Sensory Suite for children with extra special needs
- Sports Hall (opened by the Charity's President Sir Bobby Charlton)
- Adventure Playground
- Nature Activity Trail
- Playing Field
- Duck Pond & Sensory Garden
- Music Room
- Games/Art Rooms
- Animal Enclosure
NB All areas are accessible by wheelchair users
