St Ann's Hospice - A Charitable Organisation Providing Palliative Care and Support To People In Altrincham and Greater Manchester
St Ann's Hospice is an independent local charity which provides care, free of charge, to over 3,000 people each year from both Altrincham & across Greater Manchester.
It is one of the largest adult hospices for adults in the UK with 59 beds for in-patients. The hospice aims to provide care & support & improve the quality of life for people with life-threatening illnesses across Altrincham & Greater Manchester.
As a charity, St Ann's Hospice needs to raise around £16,000 per day through charitable donations & contributions. It is the support of the local community that means that it can continue to provide the highest standards of care (only 35% of its running costs are received from government funding).
