We joined as a relatively new business in 2006 mainly because it is a non profit making organisation, and therfore alot cheaper than similar groups. I have been a member of SMBA for several months now and have found that it is already having a very positive effect on my business. Between 30 and 40 business referrals are passed every week between members of the group. Another aspect I appreciate is that SMBA is a non profit organisation, unlike other business networking organisations. This means that membership costs are considerably lower.
