Working closely alongside retailers, private investors and Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council, the Altrincham Town Centre Partnership is meeting the challenges of the 21st Century as the next few years bring a variety of exciting opportunities for Altrincham as a thriving town centre.
The ongoing development of new retail stores and leisure facilities, together with the redevelopment of the Stamford Quarter and the Station Location, bring a new sense of vibrancy to Altrincham's historical town centre.
With a history dating back to 1290, when Altrincham acquired its Market Charter, the recent and ongoing developments in the town have helped to build Altrincham's excellent reputation as an attractive sub-regional town centre. The Altrincham Town Centre Partnership has been pivotal to a wide number of these exciting changes.
Additionally, the Altrincham Town Centre Partnership has instigated a number of strategies to reduce crime, such as the 'Radio Link' initiative and the prestigious 'Best Bar None' awards. These initiatives help provide a safer environment for day shoppers along with enhanced security for those visiting Altrincham's excellent evening venues.
The Altrincham Town Centre Partnership provides focus for both the public and private sectors to improve the infrastructure of the town centre.
