If you want to guarantee the delivery of letters, cards
or parcels then you will need to post them out by the below dates.
United Kingdom:
Tuesday 21st December 2010 - First Class
Saturday 18th December 2010 - Second Class
Thursday 23rd December 2010 - Special Delivery
Wednesday 15th December 2010 - Standard Parcels
Overseas Postal Destinations:
Monday 6th December 2010 -
South & Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Far East (including Japan),
Australia and New Zealand
Friday 10th December 2010 -
Eastern Europe, USA and Canada
Monday 13th December 2010 -
Western Europe
Please note these dates do not take into account any strike action, if the delivery it is important to you then it is worth posting earlier....
It is also worth reminding all businesses of these postal dates as well, many companies like to send a card or small gift to their best customer, it would not work very well if they arrived later than expected so please take note of the above dates so you too get them delivered on time.
