We are committed to wildlife conservation and care for injured, sick and abandoned wildlife in the Alton and Hampshire area
Hart Wildlife Rescue
in Alton, Hampshire
What We do
We care for injured, sick and abandoned wildlife, of all species, which will be returned to the wild when the creatures are fit and strong enough to fend for themselves.
We are commited to wildlife conservation and over the years have earned an excellent reputation for caring for injured wildlife, including endangered species.
Rescue
Our patients are often brought to us by caring members of the public, in Alton and the surrounding area, but we also collect from local vets and take admissions from other animal/wildlife rescue organisations, including the RSPCA.
Once at the hospital, the injured wildlife are assessed and treated accordingly.
Release
Wherever possible, we return our wildlife visitors back to the wild. It is our work's reward to see them head off into their natural environment once again fit, healthy and standing a good chance of survival.
Volunteers
We could not exist without the support and dedication of our volunteers who help with car boot sales, fundraising ventures, transporting patients, fostering hedgehogs, helping with treatment and care of a wide range of wildife species.
What you can do to help
We always need volunteers, for the day to day care of the sick and injured, collecting casualties and fundraising.
