Julie Shaw originates from Swanwick and is a mother of 3.
For the past 10 years she has lived in the Outer Hebrides, off the West coast of Scotland, endured unbelievable weather conditions and wild ferry crossings and managed to run a busy private practice in Counselling and Reiki, as well as 5 Yoga groups, including a Men Only group and a Meditation group, all on a very small Island!
A very experienced Counsellor, [trained at Derby University], and Supervisor of Therapists, she refreshed her therapy skills on a 2 year Buddhist Mindfulness Psychotherapy training course held in Edinburgh which ended in 2012.
