They sang a variety of solos, duets and group numbers including pop, show and folk songs at the festival (pictured below).
During the visit, the children enjoyed a guided tour of the historic town and treated to a shopping trip in Frankfurt. Some of them also took part in a 10k fun run.
Some of the pupils said: “The trip was amazing! We had so much fun meeting lots of new people and learning different ways of life. It was a great experience and we got to know everyone, so we all became best friends’.
Alison Boukhobza Town Twinning Co-ordinator at Rushmoor Borough Council commented: “The children and staff from the school feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to take part in the festival. Performing alongside musicians from Oberursel is an experience they will never forget.”
The Twinning Association of Rushmoor also manned a stall at the festival selling traditional beer, cider and whisky.
