Robyn Higgins needs our help

Just had a little cry about Robyn Higgins. A local girl, only 7 years old who needs lots of help. Robyn was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma earlier this year. Neuroblastoma is an aggressive childhood cancer that affects about 100 children each year in the UK. There is no additional treatment available in the UK. She needs to go to America for what could be life saving treatment.

As a Mum I am trying to imagine what Robyn, her parents and family must be going through. How would I cope and what would I do? I only hope that I would find strength to aim to get the best for my child and be as brave as they all seem to be.

So when I received a flyer today from Ash Manor School saying they were having a mufti day to raise money for little Robyn, I checked out Robyn's website and decided that I would make it very clear to my children that it's cool to have a mufti day but the real reason behind it is Robyn and we should all be very grateful for our family, friends and our health.
