Local Brass Band Cheers Up My Evenings!

Every Tuesday evening around 8.00 pm I am entertained, just briefly, by traditional brass band music. Although it seems a little way off, the big sound of the band always manages to put a smile on my face.


I feel quite uplifted after listening to a couple of songs and feel that I want to shout for an encore! However, although I can hear it quite clearly, it still seems a little too far away to walk to. I live at the Manor Park end of Aldershot.


Does anyone know, if this is a local community band?

I think you may be listening to the Farnborough Concert Band of the Royal British Legion which rehearses in the Scout Hut just by Manor Park. They are giving a super concert in the Princes Hall Aldershot on the 17th October for the Poppy Appeal and Parkinsons Disease Society. Why not have a special evening and come and see us.- We are an ugly lot but make smashing music !! report abuse...

Check out the events section on the bestof website, it has been updated to include your evening and I wish you lots of luck on the night.
