The market that has been organised by Rushmoor Borough Council will be located in Wellington and Union Street and will be open from 9am to 5pm.
Italia in Piazza, is a traditional Italian food market comprising of 18 gazebos decorated with the red, white and green of the Italian flag. All of the foods on sale, including some of the breads, are imported directly from producers in Italy.
There will be a wide variety of foods on sale including a vast array of cheeses and cured meats, a wonderful selection of the classic Cremona Torrone (nougat), cakes, sweets and a variety of biscuits. The market will feature a variety of olive oils, balsamic vinegars and a selection of olives as well as different shapes and sizes of pasta and speciality breads.
