I have just come back from the Twin Town Christmas Market in the Princes Mead Shopping Centre... what fun! It is here for the whole weekend 20th, 21st and 22nd Nov, so you still have a chance to see it too.
I really enjoyed browsing round the stalls full of traditional Christmas fayre from the continent. Many of the stalls belong to people from our twin towns in France and Germany, who were very amused but encouraging too when I tried out a bit of my rusty old French!
I couldn’t resist buying some lovely looking pate and mustard to hide away till later. I also found myself reaching for some Stollen and Gingerbread too, although those have little chance of lasting till Christmas!
I haven’t got time to go to the continent for a Christmas Market, so it is really nice to find that it has come here for me! Do make time for this little outing to our very own Twin Town Christmas Market yourself and do let me know how you get on!
