I was delighted to be able to take over The Best of Abingdon on 1st March 2010 in order to raise the profile of the very best local businesses in Abingdon and to persuade everyone in the community to 'Shop Local'. This site will showcase the businesses that provide top service in their field and will give residents a "voice" to shout about them!
We select the best businesses in the community based solely on recommendations from local customers. We then provide them with continued business and marketing support and opportunities. We will only accept 5 businesses per category, so we are determined to have the best. Sadly, this means that we have to turn away the businesses that do not match our high standards, but this process results in the very best being presented here.
This website is just a small part of the support that we give to our member businesses. It acts both as the hub for all the offline marketing work that we do on their behalf and the means by which the Abingdon community can voice its preferences.
