Dews Meadow Farm at East Hanney, near Abingdon have always produced their pork in the traditional manner and to the highest quality standards. They raise the optimum mix of breeds outdoors in a straw-based, low stress environment. No growth-promotors, hormones, routine anti-biotics or added copper are used - all resulting in the highest quality of flavour and tenderness.
Dews Meadow produce their own award-winning dry cured bacon and hams, designer sausages and burgers, pates, salami, hazlet, Devonshire hogs puddings, black pudddings, pork pies, sausage rolls, plaits, scotch eggs and pork and apple pasties (to name but a few of their products!). Many of these are additive-free, gluten-free and low salt too.
Dews meadow Farm appears at the Abingdon Farmers Markets every 3rd Friday of the month. They also sell directly through their Farm Shop and through selected suppliers in the area, as well as supplying mant top restaurants.
However, it is now also possible to book a Home Delivery from Dews Meadow! As in the Farm Shop, delivered items can include other local meats, vegetables, breads, jams, honey, oil and convenience foods. A full list and order form can be found on their website.
