The fully-equipped leisure centre, heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam rooms keep everybody happy, no matter what the weather. Work hard or play easy. And it is available all year round to the general public!
Ample exercise is provided by a magnificent indoor, heated swimming pool, gym and aerobics centre. The gym has trained staff who can take you through a personal exercise programme. The gym features both cardiovascular equipment such as elliptical trainers, running machines and cycles as well as resistance and weights equipment to build and tone muscle. Afterwards why not visit our tanning rooms or freshen up and relax in our sauna, spa bath or steam room.
The Glan y Môr Leisure Centre strikes a balance between exercise and relaxation. Swim hard, let the kids splash about, or work up a sweat in the gym, sauna or steam room.
Holiday home owners and guests, at Glan y Môr and Sŵn y Môr, enjoy free access to the Leisure Centre (except for the Sunshower and Bowling Lanes). Camping and touring visitors are admitted on payment of a small charge (see Leisure Centre tariff).
The freeform, heated pool incorporates a beach effect - a safe, shallow area for youngsters and non-swimmers. Deeper areas cater for stronger swimmers
The gym has separate areas for aerobic and cardiovascular exercise. The centre is manned and instruction is provided on the safe operation of all equipment. Advice can be given on exercise regimes
Adjacent to the pool is an invigorating spa bath, with room for seven people. The bath combines warmth, water and air in unique, invigorating jets that help you rejuvenate, refresh and relax.
A sunshower is available for those who want to top up their tan safely. A charge is made for using this service.
On the next level up is a steam room and separate sauna - for those who like to work-up a sweat without too much exercise.
Open to the public and fully licensed, the Galley barserves light snacks. The ten-pin bowling area, arcade machines, pool tables and a soft ball play area for the under 5's keep kids happy for hours
Hot and cold meals, snacks, soft drinks, teas, coffee and a full range of alcoholic beverages are served though the day. It's perfect relaxation after your exertions in the leisure centre, swimming pool or bowling alleys.
You can hire the events room at no extra cost for any function you wish to cater for, whether it be a wedding, christening, private party or a business meeting, this is free for to use!
Open throughout the season the licensed club offers light snacks and kids entertainment during the day and cabaret and dancing during the evening, including kids hour and bingo! And again open to the general public!!
During the summer months children's entertainers organise daytime events, while the outdoor play areas provide fun for kids of all ages
Entertainers are on hand to organise fun for the kids and an indoor adventure play pen and amusements are perfect for the youngsters.
