Members of the Courtneye Household will set up camp at the Abergavenny Castle grounds for the weekend, to demonstrate the manner in which 16th Century knights lived, dressed and fought. There will be other historical attractions, including a real cannon firing throughout the afternoon.
Watch Tudor history come to life as it is re-enacted in the castle grounds. Proceedings commence at 2pm, and close at 5pm on each day; admission is £3.50 for adults, £2.50 for children, and £10.00 for a family ticket. All tickets will be sold at the gate.
The museum will be open too, so why not make a day of it? Picnics welcome in the grounds.
