This is our favourite country dining venue. It stands head and shoulders above all the others we have tried for the quality of the food and the service, and in the end we gave up bothering to go anywhere else. We don't eat out all that often but when we do, this is where we go.

What a testimonial to a family business, excellent cooking and service and the warmest of welcomes! Within minutes all the guests were chatting across the tables and one of them them graciously ordered drinks for us. The food was perfect- fresh, local and carefully cooked. The Cider Mill is a model of a sophisticated restaurant, but so cosy and so unpretentious that I cannot praise it highly enough!
