My wife and I had a meal at Venue 59 and both had an exceptional meal - our first thoughts were the menu seems a bit expensive but the choices got our attention and we ordered both a two course each and I even had a dessert.
The venue was warm, inviting and staff and owner were very pleasant and service was of a high standard, both our meals were exceptional and we will be returning there next time we are in Abergavenny - found it by accident but well worth the money we paid -thankyou for a lovely evening.

A second-hand review from some relatives who recently visited the town for a family occasion: they found the Kings Head to be a lovely quiet place to stay, right in the centre of town and handy for everything local. They also complimented the restaurant which was apparently heaving with locals and tourists every time they went in!
