A classic country pub in a superb setting - great beer, friendly atmosphere and very nice food. Perfectly positioned for walkers right on the Offa's Dyke path, and the church next door is a real jewel too. Lovely pub!

Iʼm surprised there arenʼt more rave reviews of the Hunters Moon on this site yet - itʼs easily one the ʼundiscovered treasuresʼ of the local food scene! maybe because itʼs a little off the beaten track it remains a best-kept secret, and thatʼs fine by me, Consistently superb food and great friendly service. It feels like a traditional ʼproper pubʼ, relaxed and friendly, while the menu shows just how far pub grub has come since the 80s. Iʼd recommend this place to serious carnivores, though Iʼm sure they cater well for veggies as well!

A public house well worth the walk or drive to find. Very impressed with the cleanliness , possible a strange thing to say but with a few previous experiences around the area it was a lovely find. Calm pleasant and most definately will be returning to try out accomadation.
