The Hardwick Testimonials

We eat at the Hardwick regularly and always enjoy the fabulous freshly cooked local produce and the excellent service. We're very fond of the wine list too! This is one of our favourite places to eat for miles around.

This is refreshing take on an age-old theme – pub food with a definite edge. There’s a crispness to this menu that raises pub food to a new level, with beautiful presentation and imaginative combinations. I enjoy the starters so much that I would often order two of them instead of a main course, but always came to regret it when the rest of my party was served and I could see what I was missing! Sunday lunchtime is especially enjoyable. The wine list is inspiring and I have found the service to be attentive and friendly, though it can get a bit hectic when the restaurant
is full.
