I cannot complement the team at Sugarloaf catering enough! It was an easy decision to choose them as the caterers for our Wedding after the fantastic food they provided at my grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary. A massive thank you to Mark for all of his support during the planning stages of the wedding. Not only is he a superb chef, but he knows exactly how to put you at ease when there are lots of decisions to be made (especially when it comes to your Wedding!) All of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was, especially the lamb which just melts in your mouth! The staff and overall service provided was outstanding and I cannot thank the team enough for making our day so special. I would highly recommend Sugarloaf Caterers for any event, whether it's a wedding or a dinner party with friends...you will undoubtedly be impressed
We want to express our most sincere thanks to Mark, Claire and the staff for their provision of the catering arrangements for our daughter's wedding, followed by a family birthday party the next day. Nothing was too much trouble, and their joy at participating at the events was obvious. Their attention to detail was second to none. We had anticipated two wonderful days, and we were not disappointed. In fact, their performance exceeded all that we could have hoped for. Mark's calm demeanour had a wonderful effect on proceedings. We hope that Sugarloaf Catering goes from strength to strength, and we will be praising them for some time to come. Thank you all once again.
I have been to several events where Mark and his team have done the catering and never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and freshly prepared. Last year they cooked for my WI in our village hall and it was brilliant - the team even left the kitchen gleaming when they had finished. We love them so much that we have booked Sugar Loaf Catering for Christmas 2011 already!
Sugar Loaf do a BRILLIANT afternoon tea. They also do excellent lunches and suppers. First class. They will cater for any special diet as well, so long as you let them know in advance. AND they are lovely people too.
Mark's hog roast is excellent. Loads of tasty hot meat and it makes for a fun family party. Really good!
Finally I've had an opportunity to use Sugar Loaf Catering for an outside job - they did the food for our office relocation party and they were fantastic. There was plenty of choice and it was all so tasty. The food was delivered exactly on time and they collected all the dishes the next morning without us even having to wash up - I think I'll have to sell my kitchen and live like that for ever! Very reasonably priced too.
Mark and Claire provided a superb buffet for my daughter's wedding on August 21st. It was absolutely faultless. The meats were cooked to perfection, the salads were varied and plentiful and the Vegetarian options were unsurpassable. Most of the guests complimented me on the choice of caterers, but I do hope they also thanked Mark, Claire and their dedicated team personally. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. I recently attended a wedding anniversary party catered by the Sugar Loaf team and I have to say it was very professionally done. The staff were slick and well-rehearsed, never seeming to get in the way of the party, and the food was extremely good quality. I heard very particularly good things about the vegetarian offerings from a couple seated near me. Well done, I'd recommend them to anyone else trying to organise a similar event.
This company know exactly what they are doing. We hired them to provide catering for a large birthday party in a marquee on the lawn last summer. The organisation from beginning to end was excellent. The food was delicious and the whole set up took the party to another level. We will hire them again every year if they are available.
We were lost on Sunday no cooker,no food!! We quickly rang Claire who invited us to attend there Sunday lunches at the St.Michaels Centre, it was superb,and now we have taken my parents and rest of the family out there for Sunday dinner, well reconmmended.
I tried a salad takeout from the farmers market which was absolutely delicious.The ingredients were varied fresh and crunchy.I am looking forward to seeing their stall next month and sampling something different!
