Almost all of our delicious meats are sourced locally round Abergavenny, whether pork, lamb or beef, and our master butchers produce sausages containing delicious meat and game including wild boar, venison and poultry.
In our butchers shop in the heart of Abergavenny we carry an ever-changing stock of a huge selection of fresh meat products (sausages, burgers, home-cured gammon and more), all freshly prepared on our premises with loving care.
Our famous "Grand Slam Banger" is the sausage that made Rawlings Family Butchers the All Wales Champion, and gained us recognition on national TV for our meat products - the Two Hairy Bikers loved our meat and our bangers! Other mouth-watering sausage recipes devised by our expert butchers include Apple & Cider, Wild Boar and Apricot Cognac, Spanish Chorizo, Fruity Beef, and many more, all made fresh on the premises from the finest local meats and ingredients. Just the best there is.A range of sausages to die for,all killer and no filler!! and full of flavor.The range of meat is beautifully cut and presented and you can cut the beef with a spoon.Excellent staff always friendly and helpfull. We live just north of London and when we are in Abergavenny visiting relatives we always pop in to see Paul and replenish our freezer.

Drove from Llantrisant to Abergavenny on a "spur-of-the-moment" Saturday thing just to get pork loin for a family meal (13 people) for Mothers Day. We were late but phones Rawlings who stayed open for us... extreemly helpful & knowledgable... WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!
I personally prefer the Farmhouse sausages. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgable its a pleasure to buy from them.
I make a round 40 mile trip every Friday to buy my meat from Rawlings ... and its worth every mile! The quality of all the produce on offer is superb, their Grand Slam bangers are a must and the service is second to none.
As a person who knows almost nothing about what makes a cut of meat perfect, Iʼm delighted to find that everything I buy from Rawlings turns out to be succulent and delicious once cooked. The friendly service and advice freely given are such a bonus, and the lamb steaks and Gland Slam Bangers are definite winners every time.
