M & D Cycles are more than ʼtruly exceptionalʼ I found out about them around June, 06, and I hadnʼt rode a bike for over 40 years. After much thought and deliberation I finally purchased a Trail Bike, as I thought I wouldnʼt have the confidence to go on road. Then in April, 07, I purchased a Marin Road Bike, Carbon Composite, Miles tried to dissuade me, and preferred that I have a cheaper version, as he thought I wouldnʼt get the use out of the one that I wanted. All to no avail, and I havenʼt stopped yet, have just returned from Cyprus, (and bike) off to Northumberland next week, then Benidorm 18th. Dec. So the old bike is getting around. Youʼve got to keep the ʼOLD GUYʼ on his toes, but he is a brilliant bloke, and Dawn aint bad either, the kettle is always on, but take your own biccies or cakes. Brilliant pair, and I wouldnʼt go anywhere else.

After meeting Miles and his team I was delighted with the advise I received regarding which bike would suit my needs and budget. You simply do not get this from the sterile superstore enviroment. I have had the bike now for six months and is a perfect machine for what I require. I have needed some routine maintenance for the bike and this is where M and D come into there own with customer service. Absolutly first class. Nothing is a problem and no hassle. Keep up the good work guys.

I think that miles is very helpfull, i went there on the 11th of August and found him very polite,funny,kind and caring. He enjoys what he does, he even told us his job is also his hobbie !! He knows what he is talking about and is the best around. He even offered me & my dad a coffee or tea, which was very nice! =) We went to pick up my dads new bike and spent 2 hours there talking with him, and other custormers in the shop! My dad also thinks he is very helpfull and knows his job. Thanks miles!! Love Beth x x Age 11

I was foolish enough to buy a bike elsewhere in town, and was soon having problems with the gears, brakes and general set up - it felt like I was towing a cargo of bricks. After one service at M & D, it was running as sweet as a brand new machine, and I can finally make it home without gasping for breath. Now I wouldnʼt go anywhere else for a new bike or a repair - the service is beyond compare and, very importantly, you get to be served by experts, competing cyclists who know all there is to know about bikes, accessories and cycling.
