Cornerstone Cycle Challenge 2009

8 - 29 September

The Cornerstone Cycle Challenge, supported by BG Group is a 21 day test of stamina, determination and team work.  Offshore and onshore teams battle it out to cycle the furthest on static bikes over 21 days.

The challenge is to travel across the globe, cycling through 20 countries and covering 18,000 miles, following the route that Mark Beaumont used to smash the world record for cycling round the world.

  • Great team building activity
  • Fantastic way of promoting health and fitness within your organisation
  • Participation in the event can also be used towards the Healthy Working Lives Award Programme
  • Money raised will make a real difference to the people with disabilities which Cornerstone supports
  • No restrictions on the number of bike stations an installation/office can have
  • Registration fee will cover the cost of the bike which you get to keep and use whenever you wish
  • No restriction on number of participants who compete
  • Builds community links
