However, I am reliably informed by Simon at The Ship Inn that THEY DO ALLOW DOGS IN THE BAR just not in the bedrooms. So feel free to take your pooch along when you visit for your favourite tipple! The ship is a busy pub with good food and a good atmosphere. Only shame is that they no longer allow dogs inside.

The Ship Inn is situated in a lovely sheltered little harbour on the east coast of Scotland. When you enter the Inn you are welcomed with a warm, happy and friendly atmosphere, that instantly makes you want to stay and experience this lovely establishment.

The ship Inn is a great place. The food is absolutely fantastic. They have a great wine list and over 100 malt whiskies to choose from. The staff are very friendly and the locals are very interesting with their local stories.
