The Ship Inn began as a traditional public house in 1771 and now caters for excited visitors and drouthy locals, eager to sample its local fare. Over the years the rooms have been renovated to provide comfortable accommodation without losing its character.

The fish and seafood are caught by the local fishermen and are transformed into freshly cooked dishes using only the best ingredients.
Fresh fillet of haddock, North Sea mussels and pan fried fillets of sea bass, beg to be chosen from the extensive menu. There are also steaks, chicken and pasta - and the sticky toffee pudding and vanilla pannacotta are to die for, so leave a little room for desserts.
The traditional pub, which is full of character, not only serves a good selection of keg beers and real ales, but also has a wonderful range of over 100 malt whiskies.
