This gorgeous wee bistro cafe is a true gem in the West End.
Very professional with exquisite food and cappuccino to die for! The ambience is homely and welcoming and service is of a very high standard. Book in advance on 01224 630368 it's well worth a visit. Don't forget to try the ice cream, it's awesome!

I visited Prego recently one night for dinner and was very impressed with the service and the food. Having visited the Deli next door for delicious ice cream on numerous occasions I was curious to try the bistro. We were greeted warmly by the hosts Stuart and George and given plenty time to look at the menu and decide what we wanted. We had starters and main courses and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. It is a small intimate bistro and the menu is not huge but there is a nice variety of dishes. When I visited they did not have a licence and we were allowed to bring our own wine. There is a really good off licence a few doors down and we just nipped out and got a lovely chilled bottle of wine to accompany our meal. This was a lovely evening in nice comfortable surroundings. The food was delicious and we were treated like old friends. I will definately return here and have raved about it to my friends ever since.

We had to wait weeks for a table for the 6 of us to dine. It was do worth the wait. The food is not complicated but is very delicious and I loved the whole homely feeling of the place. The staff were very helpful and the service was quick. It is BYOB which works well as there is now a wine shop next door now. Good Value for money, just plan ahead. Oh and their icecream parlour next door is worth a visit just for the icecream without going to the resturant.
