Eat on the Green brings a speciality restaurant and a new dining experience to the picturesque village of Udny Green, tucked away in the green Aberdeen countryside between Oldmeldrum and Ellon.  Owned and managed by Craig Wilson, this restaurant has earned a fine reputation for great food in the Ellon and Aberdeen area with its imaginative range of contemporary and classic dishes using only the finest and freshest of specially selected local produce. 

Craig is an award-winning chef who brings a wealth of experience to the superb food served in this speciality restaurant, and you will be looked after ‘front of house’ by the restaurant staff who ensure that your special dining experience takes place in a relaxed and informal atmosphere while still retaining the hallmarks of a great restaurant – high standards of service coupled with value-for-money.

Just a short drive from Ellon and only 20 minutes from Aberdeen, this speciality restaurant is well worth a visit.  The restaurant seats up to 70 in absolute comfort, while the adjoining lounge offers light snacks and fresh coffee in a warm and inviting ambience. 

A sample lunch or dinner menu might include:  Parsnip, Honey & Ginger Soup; Thai-style Smoked Haddock Fishcakes; Seared Fillets of Salmon with Lime Hollandaise and Wok-Fried Greens, or Chargrilled Sirloin of local Aberdeen Angus with Roasted Shallots and Homemade Chunky Chips – all very special food. 

Desserts might include:  Caramelised Lemon Tart; Banana and Cinnamon Pavlova, or Iced Terrine of White & Dark Chocolate.  If you enjoy special food, you will love Eat on the Green.

The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
