What to do for Father’s Day in the Aberdeen area

Don’t forget Father’s Day – but what do you do for your dad, or where do you take him?  We have some great ideas at thebestofaberdeen.

If he enjoys whisky, take him to the award-winning GlenDronach Distillery by Huntly . Renowned for creating fine malt whisky, they give visitors the opportunity to take a guided tour and enjoy a tutored tasting of their whiskies.  

You could give him a voucher from Riverside Aberdeen Valeting to give his car a treat. 

Or, if he is a golfer, The Kings Links Golf Centre, opposite Pittodrie Stadium, have some great golfing gifts, clothing, balls and accessories.

If he is a sporting dad, call at Thistle Sports, Thistle Street, where you will find all kinds of sporting equipment and clothing. 

If he is into Hi-Fi go to Holburn Hi-Fi in Holburn Street for top notch equipment.  They have an accessory shop which can give you some good tips on things he would love, or they can sell you a gift voucher. 

Of course, you can treat him by taking him out for a really nice meal.  We have a selection of really good restaurants featured in our Food and Drink section.
