Hole Station Camping Site
The Hole Station Camping site is situated near Holsworthy on the A3072 at Highampton, via a private lane, and is a very convenient campsite location from which to explore the Launceston, Bude, and Holsworthy areas.
Set in 45 acres of secluded pasture and woodland, Hole Station campsite is for those seeking country weekend camping breaks far from the madding crowd, quiet country lanes, sleepy market towns such as Holsworthy and Hatherleigh, excellent walking and cycling routes, and handy for the sandy beaches of Bude and North Cornwall, the lush countryside surrounding Launceston, and remote West Devon.
The campsite compises 11 camping pitches with shower, wc, washing and standpipe water facilities. There are 23 acres of private woodland to enjoy, with a picnic spot in a woodland glade featuring rural views to the Tors of Dartmoor across lush farmland. Should you be a non-cooking camper, there are pubs in the nearby villages of Highampton, Black Torrington and Sheepwash serving excellent pub meals within easy walking distance, and a Post Office and general store at Highampton.

Cyclists - cyclists are very welcome at the campsite, which is just off the National Cycle Network No.3 close to Black Torrington. Other nearby cycle routes include the Tarka Trail and the Sticklepath Cycle Route. There is also a short cycle route section leading to Highampton from the campsite entrance, along the former railway cutting.

Dog friendly campsite - Well behaved dogs are welcome at the campsite, but must be kept on a lead at all times as there are many deer in the adjacent woods. There is a dedicated dog exercise area too.

Camp site charges are:
Per pitch per night - £10 for upto 2 people.
Additional adults per night - £3.50.
Additional children (16 and under) per night - £2.50.
Rent-a-Tent - 2 person tent - £15 per night, 2 person 'deluxe' tent, masses of space - £25 per night, 4 person tent - £35 per night. You just turn up at the campsite and everything is ready for you. A camping kit is included with a stove, cutlery, crockery, camp beds or mattress, chairs, table, cool box and more - we aim to make camping for the beginner as easy and fun as possible!
BBQ rental - £5.00, 3 people +, £2.50, 2 people.
Firepit - £4 including kindling and firewood.
