As for flues....

Your stove must be sealed completely to the chimney, which may mean a flue lining has to be installed, though in some new homes special adapters are available - ask us for advice, this isn't an easy diy project, and safety throughout your heating system is obviously very important, you don't want smoke in your eyes.
