Moorfields Eye Hospital offer a comprehensive and seamless ophthalmic service that is internationally renowned.
In 2007 we carried out over 23,000 ophthalmic operations. Complex ophthalmic cases come to us from across the UK and further afield. In partnership with the Institute of Ophthalmology, we manage the largest ongoing ophthalmic research programme in the world.
All of our work and treatment is only possible because of the unique combination of doctors, scientists and a variety of other clinicians, supported by state-of-the-art research at the Institute of Ophthalmology, that work together to provide a dedicated service.
At Moorfields, our doors are never closed and everyone that walks through them, be they staff, patients, or friends are all a part of the Moorfields community.
