We have used the services of Michael Phillips Electrical in our sports club on many occasions. We find him very professional, very reliable and just as importantly, they offer good value for money in a market where others charge extortionate rates. They have a number of electricians on their books and as such can do the job very quickly too. I would certainly rate them as one of the best electricians in Huddersfield.

I have used A R Jones Butchers in Marsh for Pork Pies in large numbers for various charity nights in the area and they are always of exceptional quality despite the numbers requested. I have also been recommended the pork pies with apple sauce and stuffing, but I believe they are to die for. Roll on the next bash where pie and peas are required!

10/8/08 Eileen and Ros Grappolo is our very favourite restaurant and we go at least once per week - not mention the take-a-ways in between!!!! The food is fantastic and the staff couldnʼt be friendlier or more helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble for them. We have always found the service to be quick and efficient even if the restaurant is bursting at the seams. The menu is extensive and we always find something which takes our fancy although we do tend to stick with our old favourites. Whether we eat pizza, pasta or some other dish it is always cooked to order exactly as we like it and we have never been disappointed. The restaurant is always very busy so booking is essential. If you want quiet go earlier but if you like lots of noise and laughter go for a later sitting. But whichever you choose, whether part of a large party or just a twosome, you will feel part of the wonderful ambience of the place. There are always birthdays or other celebrations going on and everyone really gets into the spirit of them. We went to Grappolo on New Years Eve last year and have also used the restaurant for other countless celebration events; Hami and his staff have always made them very special events for us. Everything about Grappolo is brilliant - if you have not yet had the experience you are really missing out so just go for it and we are sure you will enjoy it as much as we do, but make sure you reserve a table or you may well be disappointed.

Canʼt say much about Concepts beauty except Iʼve been going there for lots of different beauty treatments for a number of years and Iʼve never yet had reason to complain about any of it. In fact, I nearly cried when I realised that I could afford one particular treatment (IPL) which in the long run would save me £££s. Sharon and the girls are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. I particularly like the fact that you have a full treatment room and not a cubicle for your treatments. The business is run very professionally and I just love it!

My fiancee and I have stayed at the Durker Roods a couple of times, and I can easily recommend it to anyone. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The location and building is pleasant, and atmospheric. And the restaurant food is actually rather good. All in all, considering the reasonable prices, Iʼd have to rate this as one of the better hotels Iʼve ever stayed at. Iʼve been to many that are far more expensive, and not a patch on Durker Roods. So if youʼre looking for a place in the area to stop over for a night or two, seriously consider it.

Marsh Design did all the planning & design work for an extension we were doing at our local sports club. The owner, Dave Haigh, did a fantastic job and the end results were superb. Marsh Design would certainly be recommended by me as one of the best in town for service and value for money.

I have eaten at Poppa Piccolinos on a number of occassions with friends and family and have always enjoyed the delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent service. I would certainly be happy to recommend it to anyone whether its a family tea with young children or a special celebration. Will be back again soon!
