At The Wappy Spring Inn & Bistro on Lindley Moor Road, Huddersfield, we pride ourselves on our quality, freshly prepared Cuisine which is served by our very friendly staff in pleasant surroundings with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

The Wappy Spring Inn bistro restuarant has been in Huddersfield since 1785 and was taken over in 2003 by Austin and Trevor who are very much 'hands on' and are continually striving to improve the 'dining experience' of this restaurant and the number of 'return' visitors is testament to this approach!

The bistro restaurant menu changes frequently and is supplemented by a daily 'Specials Board'.  There are always a number of vegetarian choices available and special requests are usually no problem.  As all the food is freshly cooked at this cosy english restaurant, there may be a delay in service, but this is kept to a minimum and the wait is well worthwhile.

The Wappy Spring Inn's Quality Menu is available EVERY evening. 

Try our Early Bird menu and traditional Sunday lunch

 There is also a 2 course Early Bird Menu served from 5pm to 7pm Monday to Saturday and a 2 course Sunday Lunch is served 12pm-4pm.  The Wappy Spring Inn Restaurant in Huddersfield full top quality A La Carte menu and a Sunday roast is served from 4pm-8pm.

Children are welcome at The Wappy Spring Restaurant in Huddersfield. Whilst there are no children's menus, smaller portions of certain dishes are available.

Have a relaxing drink in the bar or in our large beer garden

The Wappy Spring Inn, Lindley Moor Road, Huddersfield serves a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, etc and customers who call into the restaurant just for a drink are always welcome.  Due to pressure of space however, tables are reserved for diners only at busy times.  The Restaurant also has a large beer garden available for the summer months.

Bookings for tables at The Wappy Spring Inn, Huddersfield are taken every evening (a non-refundable deposit may be requested and pre-ordering may be necessary).

Current opening hours are:

Monday - 5pm to 10pm

Tuesday to Saturday - 5pm to 11pm

Sunday from 12.00pm to 10.30pm

Food is served:

Monday - 5pm to 8pm 

Tuesday to Friday - 5pm to 9pm

Saturday - 5pm to 9.30pm

Sunday 12pm to 8pm.

NOTE:- The 'Early Bird' special menu is now available between 5pm and 7pm - Monday to Saturday.

NOTE:-  Sunday Roast is available all day on Sundays.

The Wappy Spring Inn & Bistro, Lindley Moor Road, Huddersfield is easy to find being situated between Junctions 23 & 24 of the M62, on the A643/A640 (Rochdale) Road which runs parallel to the motorway.

I had a meal with some friends last week in the Wappy Spring. Very nice. Choice of wine was good. I smoke and was delighted with the heated smoking area outside which seems to be a new addition to the building. Would definitely go there again. The service was very good too and the price was not bad for the size of portions. There was a good choice of food.

I live local to the Wappy so have visited quite a few times! I find the welcome warm and inviting and the liquid refreshments of a high standard. I have dined here too which was ok. I eat out quite a lot and i feel that the prices are a little high and the menu doesnt change often enough. However what we chose was good quality and served well. I am impressed with the area provided for the smokers. The addition of a smokers "balcony" looks excellent and fits in well with the character of the pub. Well done for thinking ahead.

We have reduced a number of prices, but quality doesnʼt come cheap, we feel the surroundings, atnosphere and the quality of the food combine to provide a good night out, at a reasonable price, but in order to reduce prices any further would mean our having to compromise on the quality of the food, which we will not do. The menu does not change as often as we would like, but we always try to offer a good selection, the specials board changes a lot more than previously and there is a greater selection of fish choices, but there is a limit to the size of the menu, due to the size of the kitchen and the pub itself, we prefer to offer good quality food rather than the type of food which can be bought anywhere, and the number of repeat visitors indicates that this is what our customers prefer.

The Wappy Springʼs food is some of the best, if not the best pub food available in Huddersfield. It is slightely more expensive than the norm, but the choice, the portions, the quality and the service is second to none! I have eaten here several times now and I always leave with a full stomach having had a great eating experience. It is well worth the journey up to Lindley Moor Road to give it a try!
