ILLYRIA PRESENT PINOCCHIO AT CASTLE CORNET
x
From: 09 July 2008
To: 13 July 2008
This July will see the original story of Pinocchio brought to Castle Cornet as Illyria present their award winning production and portrayal of this comic masterpiece.

Everyone thinks that they know the story of Pinocchio but forget Disney’s version, Carlo Collodi’s original version is much more sinister and thrilling. Illyria’s production is based entirely on the original and their boundless energy makes sure that the audience feels part of the adventure as Pinocchio embarks on his quest to become a real boy with many dramatic events unfolding along the way.

Collodi’s story of redemption is also a hysterical satire on growing up – and both children and adults will recognise the reality hidden behind each episode of the play. Featuring a leading actor whose nose really does grow and a 20-foot shark, Illyria’s Pinocchio is suitable for everyone aged 5 and over and is not to be missed!

Make the most of the summer weather with drinks from our wine bar and enjoy the views from the Castle.  Hot meals and snacks will be available in the Refectory Café which will also supply pre-ordered picnics. Orders may be placed by contacting Hayley Wallace on 07781 415179. Alternatively, please bring along your own picnic.

Illyria will be performing at the Castle in the evenings of the 9th,10th and 12th July (starting at

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines and stories in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

How do I start using feeds?

In general, the first thing you need is something called a feed reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. IE 7.0 has a good feed reader built in, otherwise try Feedreader.
